INCREASE YOUR PRODUCTIVITY & INCREASE YOUR GPA
It is an unfortunate fact of the state of today’s education that most students have never learned how to be students. For years, educators have focused so much upon the subject matter to be taught, that we have lost sight of teaching students to focus on the basic act of studying. We have been so concerned with what students must learn, that we have not focused on teaching students how to learn.
Teachers and parents of those students who could be getting better grades maintain that the students should “work harder” to learn the subjects being taught. Is this the problem? Are these students in need of “working harder”, in order to achieve better grades?
Students who achieve great success throughout their educational careers are those who have learned how to study—how to work smarter, not harder. They know that employing the right study techniques will help them assimilate the subject matter more easily, and in less time. Knowing how to learn increases a student’s productivity, rate of achievement, and Grade Point Average!
